Role Description The part-time Occupational Therapist will work remotely, providing client-centered assessment and therapy services for children and adults with developmental, neurological, and communication-related conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting functional assessments, designing individualized treatment plans, and delivering online occupational therapy sessions that support sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills, activities of daily living, and behavior regulation. The role involves collaborating with speech therapists, audiologists, special educators,



and families to ensure coordinated care and measurable progress.

The Occupational

Therapist will maintain accurate documentation, monitor outcomes, and provide guidance to caregivers on home-based strategies and therapy follow-up.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy for pediatric and adult populations, with the ability to plan and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Relevant knowledge in Medicine and allied health concepts to understand diagnoses, comorbidities, and multidisciplinary treatment approaches.
- Experience in Rehabilitation, including functional assessments, goal setting, and long-term therapy planning for neurodevelopmental and physical conditions.
- Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams in a remote setting.
- Background or strong interest in Pediatrics, especially working with children with autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other developmental conditions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution; current licensure/registration as per local regulations.
- Comfort with telehealth platforms, basic digital documentation, and remote session delivery.
- Empathetic, client-focused approach, with strong organizational and time-management skills suited to part-time remote work.
- Prior experience in speech and hearing or multidisciplinary rehabilitation settings is an added advantage.
