Role Description The Network Engineer role at Care infotech is a full-time, in office position based in Kuppam.

The Network

Engineer will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring stable and secure connectivity across desktops, laptops, and servers. Daily tasks include monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving connectivity and configuration issues, and supporting network changes and upgrades. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients to understand technical requirements, applying best practices in network security, and documenting configurations, incidents, and resolutions.

Engineer will also be responsible for proactive maintenance, backup support, and adherence to organizational policies and standards.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design, including configuration of switches, routers, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Network Administration, such as user access management, IP addressing, and routine network monitoring.
- Hands-on Troubleshooting experience with LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues, using diagnostic tools and systematic problem-solving.
- Knowledge of Network Security practices, including basic firewall rules, VPNs, intrusion prevention, and secure configuration standards.
- Familiarity with server and desktop operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and common enterprise applications.
- Relevant technical certification (such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent) preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Kuppam, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is advantageous.
