Role Description The MEP Engineer will oversee the design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for industrial, residential, and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing drawings, preparing MEP designs, performing load and capacity calculations, and ensuring compliance with local codes and standards. The role involves close collaboration with architects, structural engineers, site teams, and contractors to resolve technical issues, optimize building services, and support project timelines and budgets.

The MEP Engineer will conduct site inspections, monitor installations,



address safety and quality concerns, and participate in commissioning and handover activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and Building Services, with the ability to integrate these disciplines effectively.
- Proficiency in MEP coordination, including reviewing and aligning architectural, structural, and services drawings and resolving clashes.
- Practical experience in Plumbing design and installation, including water supply, drainage, and fire protection systems.
- Foundational skills in Electrical Engineering for building projects, including power distribution, lighting, and safety systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Experience working on industrial parks, residential developments, or commercial buildings, preferably within real estate or construction sectors.
- Familiarity with applicable building codes, standards, and safety regulations, and ability to apply them in design and execution.
- Competence in CAD or BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for MEP design and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site and within multidisciplinary teams.
