Role DescriptionAs a Mechanical Design Engineer at Analogy, you will contribute to the end-to-end development of innovative physical products, from concept exploration to production-ready designs.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing mechanical architectures, performing detailed design and machine design calculations, and creating 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.

You will collaborate closely with industrial designers, electronics engineers, and manufacturing partners to ensure product feasibility, reliability, and cost-effective production. You will also participate in design reviews, prototype testing, and design-for-manufacture activities,



documenting design iterations and incorporating feedback to improve product performance and manufacturability.

This is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering, with the ability to translate product requirements into robust mechanical solutions.
- Hands-on experience in machine design, including material selection, tolerance analysis, mechanical components, and mechanism design.
- Proficiency in product design, balancing user needs, aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD tools for 3D modelling, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience with prototyping methods, testing procedures, and design-for-manufacture (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA) principles.
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in a product development studio, hardware startup, or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
