Role Description This full-time Interior Designer role at DesignHex is an on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Interior

Designer will develop concepts and layouts, perform detailed space planning, and select materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with client needs and budgets. Daily responsibilities include preparing mood boards, construction drawings, and documentation, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and overseeing implementation to ensure design quality and timely completion. The role involves meeting clients,



understanding their requirements, presenting design proposals, and refining solutions based on feedback while maintaining brand standards and project timelines.

Qualifications

- Previous Experience of 4-5 Years
- Proficiency in Interior Design and FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection to create cohesive, functional spaces.
- Strong Space Planning skills to optimize layouts for residential and commercial environments.
- Understanding of Architecture and its integration with interior solutions for structural and aesthetic alignment.
- Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings and detailed documentation for project execution.
- Experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Strong visual, creative, and conceptual thinking, with attention to detail and material finishes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, consultants, and site teams.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior studio or site experience in Mumbai projects is an advantage.
