Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role based in Kolkata.

The Insurance

Agent will identify prospective clients, explain general insurance products, and recommend suitable coverage options tailored to customer needs. Daily responsibilities include generating leads, conducting consultations, preparing quotations, and assisting customers with policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and claims support. The role involves maintaining accurate records of client interactions, complying with regulatory and company policies,



and collaborating with internal teams and distribution partners to achieve sales targets.

Agent is expected to provide high-quality customer service, build long-term relationships, and contribute to overall business growth in the Kolkata region.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively promote and explain general insurance products.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance Brokerage and related industry practices to manage policy placement and client advisory services.
- Candidates should possess a good understanding of Finance to interpret premium structures, coverage terms, and basic risk assessment.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to handle queries, resolve issues, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Relevant experience in general insurance or financial services, preferably in sales or client-facing roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work with targets, manage time effectively, and maintain detailed documentation and reports.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; professional insurance certifications are an advantage.
