MindKind Early Years is a preschool and day care creating thoughtful early childhood experiences through nature-based learning, gentle caregiving, child-led exploration, mindful movement and awareness, while honouring each child’s individual pace of growth and development.

Who We're Looking For

At MindKind Early Years (MKEY), we believe great educators are defined not just by what they know, but by how they make children feel. We are looking for warm, patient, and curious facilitators who genuinely enjoy spending time with young children, believe in learning through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships and guide children rather than instruct.

Above all, we are looking for educators who lead with kindness, curiosity, and presence. Individuals who understand that every interaction is an opportunity to nurture a child's confidence, independence, and love for learning will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience·

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree. Preferably in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Prior experience working with children in a preschool or early learning setting is preferred.
- Strong spoken English; proficiency in Tamil is an advantage.
- A willingness to learn and embrace MKEY’s philosophy of nature-based learning, mindfulness, and gentle,



respectful teaching.
- Basic classroom management and observation skills.
- Certification in First Aid or CPR is an advantage.
- A willingness to embrace MKEY's philosophy of nature-based learning, mindfulness, and gentle, respectful teaching.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate engaging nature based learning experiences in the classroom each day for 2 to 6 year olds.
- Provide gentle, responsive caregiving, helping children navigate emotions and conflicts with empathy.
- Support children through daily routines, including transitions, meals, rest and toileting.
- Prepare and maintain safe, inviting, and well-organised learning environments.
- Observe and document each child's learning, experiences, and daily activities on the preschool app to keep families and MKEY team informed.
- Assess children's progress using MKEY’s assessment rubrics.
- Collaborate with the Curriculum Coordinator to plan and assist in preparing lesson plans catering to each child.
- Collaborate with the rest of MKEY team as needed.
- Build trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues through respectful communication.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events while upholding MKEY’s philosophy and child safeguarding practices.
