Role Description The EXIM Documentation Faculty will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality training sessions on export-import (EXIM) procedures, documentation standards, and compliance requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans and course materials, conducting classroom sessions, guiding learners through practical documentation exercises, and evaluating their progress through assignments, assessments, and feedback. The role involves staying updated on current EXIM regulations, trade documentation practices, and industry trends, and integrating these into the curriculum to ensure relevance.





The faculty will collaborate with academic coordinators and other trainers to enhance course content and support learner success through mentoring and doubt-clearing sessions. This is a full-time, on-site role based at TUEM HUB in Ernakulam.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in EXIM procedures, export-import documentation, international trade regulations, and customs compliance.
- Candidates should possess skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and training delivery, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse learners.
- Candidates should possess strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Candidates should possess analytical and detail-oriented skills to review, explain, and demonstrate accurate documentation and compliance processes.
- Relevant industry experience in export-import operations, logistics, or trade facilitation, preferably in a training or mentoring capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Commerce, International Business, Logistics, or a related field; professional certifications in EXIM or trade operations are an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an academic environment and adapt to evolving course requirements and industry standards.
- Proficiency with digital tools for training, including presentation software and learning management systems, is beneficial.
