Role Description:

The Estimation Engineer role is a full time, on-site position based in Virudhunagar.

The Estimation

Engineer will prepare detailed estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for architectural, construction, and interior projects, ensuring alignment with design specifications and project requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing drawings and technical documents, coordinating with design and project teams, conducting site visits as needed, and gathering cost data from vendors and suppliers. The role also involves evaluating project feasibility,



supporting tender preparation, reviewing bids, and assisting with negotiation to secure competitive pricing.

The Estimation

Engineer will work closely with project managers and engineers to update estimates, track cost variations, and contribute to cost optimization throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills:

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Project Estimation and BOQ preparation for interior works.
- Experience in purchase planning, vendor management, and Purchase Order (PO) handling.
- Skilled in BOQ/BOM preparation and quantity estimation.
- Good negotiation skills for vendor pricing and contract terms.
- Knowledge of interior materials, product quality, and cost analysis.
- Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, etc.).
- Language: Fluency in Tamil is mandatory.
- Proficiency in estimation and quantity surveying software (e.g., Excel, AutoCAD, or specialized estimation tools) is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced project environment.
- Prior experience in estimation for commercial, residential, or interior projects is an advantage.
