Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Research and Development Engineer role based in Gandhinagar. The R&D; Engineer will design, develop, and improve electrical products and solutions aligned with Sonepar’s industrial and commercial markets. Daily responsibilities include conducting research on materials, technologies, and market needs, performing testing and validation of prototypes, analyzing performance data, and documenting findings.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product management, engineering, sales, and logistics to translate customer requirements into practical product designs.



The engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and contribute to innovation projects that enhance product reliability, sustainability, and efficiency.

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for an Embedded Hardware and Software Development Engineer-to Design and implement Hardware and firmware of embedded devices. CE/EMI/EMC/IS certification

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and implement Hardware and firmware of embedded.
- Design, develop, code, test and debug system hardware and firmware.
- Interface with hardware design and development.
- Research & learn new technologies as necessary to improve the current product, solve any problems and unlock new features.
- Integrate and validate new product designs.

MEASUREABLE DELIVERABLES

- Current product development or New Technology.
- Upgradation of Existing product. KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Hands on experience writing embedded Hardware and firmware with Strong knowledge Op-ampbased circuit/SMPS/Signal conditioning/ C/C++
- Experience product design ,EMI/EMC/CE
- Excellent knowledge on the IP protocols like I2C, I2S, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet interfaces and hardware subsystems
- Ability to read electronics schematics & circuit diagrams
- Work experience with RF protocols like Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee, Lora,

•Strong Progrmmaing Expirience in C

•Worked on RTOS, Linux OS, Embeeded C CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE

•BE/B-TECH or ME/M-TECH in EC

•1-3 years in Embedded system
