About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, secure, monitor and optimize our cloud and on-premise infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and production infrastructure management.

You will work closely with our application development, backend and AI engineering teams to ensure our systems are reliable, secure, scalable and cost-efficient.

Key Responsibilities

- Cloud Infrastructure & Server Management
- Deploy, configure and manage infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Manage AWS EC2 instances, networking, storage, IAM and related cloud services.
- Set up and maintain local/on-premise servers and hybrid cloud environments.
- Configure server environments for development, staging and production.
- Manage server resources, availability, backups and disaster recovery.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure failures, connectivity issues and server performance bottlenecks.

2. Docker & Kubernetes
- Build, deploy and maintain containerized applications using Docker.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, deployments, services, ingress and configuration.
- Implement container orchestration, auto-scaling, health checks and rolling deployments.
- Optimize container resource utilization and application availability.
- Troubleshoot container, networking and orchestration issues.

3. CI/CD & Version Control
- Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for testing, building and deploying applications.
- Work with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions and runners.
- Automate deployments across development, staging and production environments.
- Implement branching strategies, release workflows and rollback mechanisms.
- Integrate automated testing, security checks and deployment approvals into pipelines.

4. Nginx, Networking & Real-Time Systems
- Configure and manage Nginx as a reverse proxy, web server and load balancer.
- Configure SSL/TLS certificates, HTTPS,



domain routing and secure communication.
- Troubleshoot DNS, firewall, port, network and connectivity issues.
- Support applications using WebSockets and real-time socket connections.
- Configure WebSocket upgrades, connection timeouts, proxy settings and load balancing.
- Understand HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP and application networking fundamentals.

5. Authentication, Secrets & Security
- Manage secure credentials, setting variables, API keys and access tokens.
- Work with AWS IAM, AWS STS and JWT-based authentication flows.
- Understand token generation, validation, expiration, refresh and secure handling.
- Apply least-privilege access controls and secure server configurations.
- Secure CI/CD pipelines, container images and cloud infrastructure.
- Implement secret-management practices and prevent credentials from being exposed in source code or logs.

6. Monitoring, Logging & Crash Management
- Set up application and infrastructure monitoring, centralized logging and alerting.
- Monitor CPU, memory, disk, network, latency, availability and error rates.
- Implement crash and error monitoring for production applications.
- Investigate deployment failures, application crashes and service outages.
- Establish health checks, incident alerts and root-cause analysis processes.
- Work with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch and relevant crash-monitoring platforms.

7. Cost Optimization & Performance
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure costs across AWS and GCP.
- Identify underutilized servers, unnecessary resources and inefficient workloads.
- Optimize compute, storage, networking and Kubernetes resource allocation.
- Implement resource tagging, budgets, usage alerts and cost reporting.
- Balance performance, availability, security and infrastructure expenditure.
