Role Description The CTP Operators role at EPL Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Umargam. In this role, the operator prepares and manages computer-to-plate (CTP) systems, ensuring accurate imaging of printing plates according to job specifications and production schedules. Daily responsibilities include loading and calibrating plates, monitoring equipment performance, checking output quality, and troubleshooting technical issues to minimize downtime.

The operator works closely with prepress, design, and production teams to verify artwork,



maintain file integrity, and meet timelines. The role also involves following safety procedures, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and documenting production activities and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

- Competence in prepress and CTP operations, including plate imaging, basic RIP workflows, and handling printing materials.
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets, artwork files, and technical specifications with attention to detail and quality.
- Basic mechanical and technical aptitude to operate, monitor, and perform routine maintenance on CTP equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with design, prepress, and production teams.
- Commitment to safety practices and adherence to quality standards in a manufacturing workplace.
- Prior experience in printing, packaging, or prepress operations is preferred; training or certification in printing technology is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Umargam and adapt to shift-based operations as required by production needs.
