Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Crane Operator role based in Raigarh.

The Crane

Operator will be responsible for operating cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment safely within construction and infrastructure project sites. Daily tasks include performing pre-operation inspections, monitoring crane functions during use, and following load charts and signaling instructions from supervisors or signalers. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, coordination with site engineers and ground teams, and maintaining clear communication during lifting operations.

Operator will also assist with basic crane maintenance, report equipment issues promptly, and keep accurate records of operations as required.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of crane operation, load handling, and safe lifting practices, including familiarity with load charts and signaling methods.
- Experience working on construction or infrastructure project sites, with an understanding of site safety rules and compliance requirements.
- Ability to conduct pre-use inspections, identify basic mechanical or operational issues, and coordinate with maintenance teams when needed.
- Valuable communication skills to work effectively with supervisors, signalers, and ground personnel, and to follow instructions accurately.
- Relevant crane operator certification or license as per local regulations, and a high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Ability to work on-site in Raigarh, including in varying weather conditions, and to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing into and out of equipment.
- Prior experience as a crane operator or in heavy equipment operation will be considered an advantage.
