Role Description The Construction Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in West Bengal, India.

The Construction

Manager oversees daily construction activities, coordinates subcontractors and site staff, and ensures work is completed according to design specifications, safety standards, and schedule.

Responsibilities include managing project timelines and budgets, monitoring progress, resolving on-site issues, and maintaining clear communication with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders. The role also involves enforcing safety protocols, overseeing quality control inspections, preparing progress reports,



and supporting procurement and resource allocation to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

- Strong supervisory skills to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and manage daily construction operations.
- Budgeting and project control skills to plan costs, track expenditures, manage schedules, and support project reporting.
- Hands-on experience in construction methods, materials, and techniques relevant to commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations, with the ability to implement and monitor safety practices on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in construction management software and basic MS Office tools for documentation and coordination.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work on-site in West Bengal, India and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project setting.
