Role Description This is a full time, on-site Civil Engineer Business Development role based in Chennai. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities for Tvasta’s 3D-printed construction and industrial solutions, including engaging with clients, partners, and stakeholders in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Day-to-day tasks include understanding client requirements, preparing technical and commercial proposals, supporting project feasibility assessments, and collaborating with engineering and R&D; teams to translate civil engineering needs into technology-driven solutions.

The individual will conduct market research, attend industry events, manage client relationships,



and provide technical demonstrations and presentations to showcase Tvasta’s capabilities. The role also requires tracking project pipelines, negotiating contracts in coordination with leadership, and ensuring successful handover to project execution teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Civil Engineering fundamentals, including Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering concepts.
- Candidates should possess experience as Civil Engineers with practical exposure to construction, infrastructure projects, or related fields.
- Candidates should possess skills in Planning, including project planning, resource estimation, and scheduling.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Stormwater Management and related site infrastructure design practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to bridge technical civil engineering requirements with business development activities and client communication.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with comfort in client-facing roles.
- Interest in construction technology, industrial 3D printing, and innovation-focused environments.
- Proficiency in relevant design and analysis tools (e.g., CAD software, civil design tools) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in business development, sales engineering, or techno-commercial roles within construction or infrastructure sectors is beneficial.
