Role Description The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading the bank’s information security and cybersecurity strategy. The CISO will design, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards, and frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Daily responsibilities include overseeing security operations, monitoring threats, managing incident response, and coordinating vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

The role involves working closely with technology, risk, compliance, and business teams to ensure secure application development, data protection, and business continuity planning. The CISO will also lead security awareness programs, manage audits, report security posture to senior leadership,



and guide security-related investments and projects.

Qualifications

- Solid expertise in Information Security and Information Security Management, with experience establishing and governing enterprise-wide security frameworks.
- Proficiency in Cybersecurity practices, including threat management, incident response, security monitoring, and risk assessment.
- Hands-on experience with Application Security, secure software development lifecycle (SDLC), and protection of critical banking applications and APIs.
- Demonstrated capability in Business Continuity planning, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies for financial services environments.
- Extensive experience in banking or financial services, with solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to information security.
- Proven leadership skills, including managing multidisciplinary security teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical risks into business impact and transparent recommendations.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or Cert_In certified or Experienced IT Officer in a PSB of Financial Institution or equivalent; a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is highly preferred.
- We prefer a reitred PSB/Sceduled Commercial Bank/Financial Institution Officials holding experience and expertise in IT Field.
