About the role :

We are looking for a highly organised, analytical, and execution-focused Chief of Staff – Operations to work closely with the senior leadership team and drive operational priorities across the organisation.

The role will act as a bridge between leadership, operations, and cross-functional teams, ensuring that key business initiatives are translated into clear action plans, tracked effectively, and delivered within defined timelines.

The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to operations, business planning, project management, MIS/analytics, and stakeholder management, preferably within the Food, FMCG, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, or related sectors.

Responsibilities :

- Strategic & Operational Support
- Work closely with senior leadership on operational planning, business priorities, and strategic initiatives.
- Translate leadership priorities into actionable plans with clear owners, timelines, and deliverables.
- Track critical operational initiatives and highlight delays, risks, and dependencies.
- Support leadership in reviewing business performance and identifying areas requiring intervention.

2. Operations Management & Coordination
- Coordinate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Procurement, Quality, Finance, HR, and other functions to drive execution.
- Monitor operational performance across locations and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
- Identify process gaps and support teams in developing practical solutions.




- Facilitate cross-functional coordination for critical business projects and operational challenges.

3. MIS, Analytics & Business Reviews
- Prepare and consolidate MIS, dashboards, reports, and management presentations for leadership reviews.
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for important operational initiatives.
- Prepare weekly/monthly business review decks and ensure timely follow-up on action items.

4. Project & Initiative Management
- Drive end-to-end execution of strategic and operational projects.
- Develop project plans, milestones, timelines, and responsibility matrices.
- Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders and ensure timely closure of action points.
- Escalate critical issues and provide data-backed updates to leadership.

5. Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, cost control, and process standardisation.
- Work with relevant teams to implement process improvements across locations.
- Support documentation and implementation of SOPs, workflows, and governance mechanisms.
- Track the impact of improvement initiatives through measurable KPIs.

Leadership Communication & Governance
- Act as a central coordination point between leadership and operational teams.
- Prepare leadership briefs, meeting agendas, MOMs, and action trackers.
- Ensure decisions taken during leadership reviews are converted into clear actions and followed through to closure.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive business information.

Preferred Experience & qualification :

- 2-4 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in Food, FMCG, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Operations
- Prior experience working with senior leadership / CXO / Founders will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in Chief of Staff, Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, Program Management, Business Excellence, or Management Consulting roles may be considered.
- MBA / PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain, Business Management or a related discipline preferred.
- Graduate degree in any relevant discipline.
