Role Description The Chief Happiness Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru North, focused on cultivating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. This role designs and implements employee wellbeing and engagement programs, including surveys, feedback channels, recognition initiatives, and team-building activities.

The Chief Happiness

Officer collaborates with leadership and HR to align culture and people practices with organizational goals, supports managers in building healthy team dynamics, and addresses workplace concerns in a fair and confidential manner. Daily tasks include monitoring engagement metrics, facilitating workshops, coordinating wellness resources, and ensuring that communication about policies and initiatives is clear,



supportive, and accessible. The role also involves partnering with cross-functional teams to embed values such as psychological safety, respect, and continuous learning into everyday work.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong people and culture skills, including employee engagement, wellbeing program design, team-building, and conflict resolution.
- Candidates should possess communication and facilitation skills, such as clear written and verbal communication, active listening, presentation abilities, and workshop facilitation.
- Candidates should possess organizational and analytical skills, including stakeholder management, data-driven decision making, basic HR analytics, and the ability to interpret engagement surveys.
- Candidates should possess leadership and collaboration skills, including influencing without authority, cross-functional collaboration, empathy, and coaching or mentoring abilities.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in psychology, human resources, organizational behavior, business, or a related field are beneficial; advanced study or certifications in workplace wellbeing, counseling, or HR are a plus.
- Prior experience in employee experience, HR, organizational development, or similar roles, preferably within technology or research-focused organizations, is highly beneficial.
