Role Description The Casting Procurements role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolhapur. The role involves managing end-to-end casting procurement activities, including identifying requirements, preparing purchase requisitions, and issuing purchase orders in line with project and production needs. The team member will evaluate and onboard casting suppliers, assess quality and delivery performance, and maintain supplier relationships to ensure consistent, compliant supply.

Daily tasks include coordinating with production, quality, and design teams, monitoring inventory levels, tracking deliveries, and resolving supply or quality issues. The role also requires analyzing cost and lead times, supporting contract negotiations,



and contributing to continuous improvement of procurement processes in alignment with company standards.

Qualifications

- Procurement and purchasing skills, including experience in casting procurement and overall Procurement activities.
- Ability to manage Purchase Orders from creation to tracking, with accuracy in documentation and adherence to timelines.
- Experience in Supplier Evaluation, including assessing supplier capability, quality, delivery reliability, and compliance with standards.
- Contract Negotiation skills, with the ability to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and reliable service levels.
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data on cost, lead time, and supplier performance, and to support decision-making.
- Knowledge of machining or casting processes and basic understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous materials (automotive or engineering sector experience preferred).
- Proficiency with MS Office and procurement/ERP systems for tracking orders, inventory, and supplier data.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, quality, design, and supplier teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolhapur, manage priorities in a quick-paced manufacturing environment, and maintain attention to detail.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
