Role Description The Business Development Engineer will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the composites tooling market, with a focus on moulds, jigs, and fixtures. This full-time, on-site role based in India involves engaging with prospective and existing clients, understanding technical requirements, and proposing suitable tooling solutions in collaboration with the engineering and production teams. Day-to-day tasks include preparing technical and commercial proposals, conducting market research, attending customer meetings and industry events, and supporting product demonstrations.

The role also includes maintaining a pipeline of opportunities, tracking sales activities,



and providing feedback to internal teams to improve product offerings and customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong technical background in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or composites, with the ability to understand and communicate tooling solutions (moulds, jigs, fixtures).
- Experience in business development, sales, or customer relationship management within industrial, engineering, or manufacturing domains.
- Proficiency in preparing technical quotations, proposals, and presentations, and in coordinating with design and production teams.
- Good analytical and market research skills to identify recent sectors, customers, and growth opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or related field) or a comparable technical qualification.
- Comfortable working on-site in India and visiting customer locations as required.
- Prior experience in the composites or tooling industry is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.
