Role Description As an Assistant Simulator Engineer, you will support the daily operation, maintenance, and technical reliability of helicopter flight simulators and associated training devices in an on-site role based in Bengaluru. This full-time position involves monitoring simulator performance, assisting with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and performing scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance under the guidance of senior engineers. You will help implement updates and configuration changes, support the integration and testing of new software or hardware, and document maintenance activities in accordance with regulatory and company standards.

The role also includes collaborating with instructors and operations staff to resolve technical issues,



ensuring minimal downtime during training sessions, and contributing to continuous improvement of simulator performance and safety.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in electronics, electrical, or mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline, supported by a diploma or degree.
- Experience or coursework related to simulation systems, avionics, embedded systems, or computer hardware and networking.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering documentation, and to follow standardized maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency with basic diagnostic tools, test equipment, and standard office productivity software.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a training-focused environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate respectfully with engineers, instructors, and operations teams.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru, including occasional shift work or extended hours to support training schedules.
- Prior experience in aviation, simulation, or technical maintenance roles is beneficial but not mandatory; relevant internships are an advantage.
