Role Description The Assistant Manager P&M; HEMM role is a full-time, on-site position based in Rohtas. The role involves overseeing the planning and management of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM), including monitoring equipment utilization, maintenance schedules, and downtime to support continuous operations.

The Assistant

Manager coordinates with operations, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure equipment availability, safe working conditions, and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include supervising field staff, tracking performance data, preparing reports, supporting cost control and inventory management,



and assisting in vendor coordination for spare parts and services. The role also requires proactive problem-solving, adherence to safety protocols, and contributing to process improvements in equipment and resource management.

Qualifications

- Solid understanding of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery operations, maintenance planning, and equipment utilization in mining or industrial environments.
- Experience in on-site coordination, team supervision, and workflow management within transport, logistics, or heavy equipment settings.
- Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices related to HEMM and site operations.
- Proficiency in basic data analysis, reporting, and use of MS Office or similar tools for documentation and tracking.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with vendors.
- Ability to work on-site in Rohtas on a full-time basis and adapt to field conditions and operational demands.
- Prior experience in mining, construction, or heavy equipment management will be considered an advantage.
