Role Description The Assistant Manager Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.

The Assistant Manager

Finance will assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. The role includes coordinating with internal departments and external partners such as auditors, banks, and vendors, as well as preparing regular financial reports for management.



The individual will also help identify process improvements, support implementation of financial systems, and contribute to strategic financial planning for the business.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
- Knowledge of taxation, compliance, and regulatory frameworks relevant to Indian businesses.
- Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems, along with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; skilled qualifications such as CA, CMA, or MBA in Finance are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a similar finance or accounting role, preferably within consumer products, manufacturing, or mobility sectors.
