Company Description Ekal Bharat Media Foundation operates Ekal Bharat Channel, which highlights the impact and daily work of Ekal Abhiyan across rural and tribal communities in India and Nepal. The channel showcases inspiring stories and initiatives, along with engaging content on culture, travel, health, medicine, yoga, and more. It supports the broader mission of the Ekal Vidyalaya Movement, which focuses on social and economic development through education in remote areas via one-teacher schools.

Role Description This is a full-time, in office Anchor cum Producer (English) role based in Delhi. The anchor will present news, features, and special programs in English, ensuring clear, engaging delivery aligned with the channel’s mission and editorial standards. The producer responsibilities include planning show formats, developing story ideas, coordinating scripts, and managing production workflows from pre-production to final output.

Day-to-day tasks involve researching topics, conducting interviews, collaborating with reporters and technical teams, overseeing shoots, and ensuring timely and accurate broadcast content. The role also includes reviewing footage, guiding edits,



and maintaining high editorial quality while reflecting the channel’s focus on rural and tribal development and inspiring human-interest stories.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills to gather information and craft accurate, compelling stories.
- Candidates should possess Broadcasting and Presenter skills to deliver programs clearly and confidently on camera.
- Candidates should possess Broadcast Journalism expertise to uphold editorial standards, ethical reporting, and audience-focused storytelling.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, with clear diction and strong interviewing skills.
- Experience in television, digital video, or online news production, preferably as an anchor, reporter, or producer.
- Ability to work collaboratively with editorial, technical, and field teams under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with social issues, rural development, and human-interest storytelling is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
