Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities, GST compliance, TDS deductions, bank transactions, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practical experience in maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

- Record daily financial transactions and prepare journal entries.
- Maintain cash, bank, purchase, sales, and ledger accounts.
- Handle vendor payments, customer receipts, outstanding payables, and receivables.
- Calculate GST on purchases and sales, including input tax credit (ITC), output GST, and net GST payable.
- Prepare and maintain GST-related accounting records and ensure timely payment of GST liabilities.
- Calculate TDS on commission, professional fees, and other applicable payments.
- Maintain TDS payable records and ensure timely deposit of TDS within applicable deadlines.
- Prepare Trial Balance, Trading Account, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.
- Calculate cost of goods sold, closing stock, gross profit, and net profit.
- Reconcile bank balances, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
- Maintain proper documentation, supporting invoices, payment records, and accounting vouchers.




- Assist with monthly closing activities, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field; M.Com is preferred.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Good knowledge of journal entries, ledger posting, and basic accounting principles.
- Practical knowledge of GST calculations, input tax credit, and GST payable.
- Understanding of TDS provisions, applicable rates, thresholds, and payment deadlines.
- Ability to prepare Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Solid attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organisational skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with hands-on experience in GST and TDS accounting.
- Candidates who can independently handle routine accounting transactions and financial statements.
- Candidates with good analytical skills and the ability to identify and correct accounting discrepancies.
