The ideal candidate will develop, implement, and maintain qualitycontrol systems that meet customer requirements and industry standards such asISO 9001 and AS9100. This position requires a hands-on approach toproblem-solving, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering astrong culture of quality across all departments.Key Responsibilities1.Implement and Manage Quality Systems*Develop, document, and maintain quality plans, procedures, and work instructions in compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.2.Inspection & Metrology*Conduct stage, in-process, and final inspections using metrology instruments such as 2D height gauge, VMM, air gauge, bore gauge, and surface roughness testers.*Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and specifications; identify non-conformances and collaborate with cross-functional teams for resolution.3.Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions*Lead RCA for internal rejections, customer complaints, and supplier issues.*Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using structured methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why,



or Fishbone analysis.4.Production Support & Quality Control*Support production teams in verifying patterns, specifications, and construction details.*Make final quality decisions, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory standards.5.Continuous Improvement*Drive initiatives to reduce rejections, improve inspection efficiency, and enhance overall productivity.*Suggest and implement process improvements across functions.6.Supplier Quality Management*Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming material quality, conduct supplier audits, and maintain supplier scorecards.*Manage supplier non-conformance and initiate improvement actions.7.Documentation & Reporting*Prepare and maintain First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR), PPAP, control plans, and final inspection reports.*Maintain comprehensive inspection records and ensure audit-ready documentation.8.Internal Audits & Compliance*Involvement in internal audits, document findings, and drive closure of non-conformities.*Ensure company-wide adherence to AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.9.Calibration & Maintenance of InstrumentsEnsure calibration and upkeep of all quality control instruments to maintain measurement accuracy and reliability.10.Performance Monitoring & Reporting*Track weekly/monthly quality metrics, analyse trends, and present reports to management.*Recommend actions to improve customer quality ratings and reduce rejections.11.Audit Coordination*Support and coordinate customer or third-party audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.12.Training & Team Development*Identify training needs, mentor quality team members,



and organize training programs to strengthen quality awareness and competence.13.Team Leadership & Collaboration*Lead and motivate the quality team, ensuring cross-functional collaboration with design, production, and supply chain teams.14.Final Packaging Check*Inspect packaging quality before dispatch to ensure compliance with delivery standards and safeguard product integrity during transit.Key credentials Behavioural Attributes:·Demonstrates strong respect for people, work, and societal responsibilities.·Environmentally conscious and committed to sustainable practices.Customer-focused with a mindset oriented toward delivering value and successAdaptable to organizational culture and open to change in dynamic environments.Passionate about talent development and team empowerment.Education & Experience:·Education: Diploma (Polytechnic/NTTF/GTTC) or BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Industrial Production Engineering.·Experience: 1–3 years in Quality Control and Assurance, preferably within Aerospace or Automotive industries.·Technical Expertise:*Solid understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).*Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.*Knowledge of CMM operation and programming (PC-DMIS) is an added advantage.*Familiarity with quality tools such as SPC (Statistical Process Control) and MSA (Measurement System Analysis).·Standards & Compliance: Exposure to ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards; prior audit experience is an advantage.Preferred Certifications( Added Advantage):i.Quality Management Certifications: Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)ii.Process Improvement Certifications: Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) and/orLean Manufacturing / KaizenInterested candidates can share theirupdated resume at [email protected] the subject line “Application forQuality Engineer – Succinnova Technologies.” For more information, contactthe HR Department at [email protected].
