Head the maintenance department and responsible for all maintenance activities carried out in the plant.
Plan and schedule for contract annual maintenance service of various machineries for which annual maintenance contract is required and get it done with in the specified time as per schedule.
Plan the requirements of various spare parts/change parts, tools and co-ordinate with purchase department to raise the purchase orders.
Receive the current equipment s, spare parts/change parts/food grade lubricants/gaskets/filters etc., and inspect the same as per purchase order specification.
Recruit maintenance technicians and monitor them on day-to-day engineering activities.
Ensure adequate resources for all Engineering activities.
Training of staff
Co-ordination with related vendors & external agencies.
Co-ordination with other departments.
Co-ordination with customers.
Ensure all change controls, deviations, are addressed & closed.




Handling of audits and CAPA preparation for related observations.
Be part of site quality meetings & management review meetings.
Preparation of protocols and reports.
Ensure area & equipment validations/qualifications are carried out as per the requirements.
Preparation & checking of purchase orders.
Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out as per SOP & schedule.
Ensure calibration of measuring devices is carried out as per schedule for entire plant.
Ensure proper maintenance & operation of Utilities.
Ensure compliance to related regulatory requirements.
Ensure cGMP is followed by engineering team.
Ensure availability of relevant & valid procedures are in the area.
Initiation, execution & completion of current & up-gradation projects.
Ensure EHS procedures are followed across all functions.
Lead during EHS audits & ensure compliance to the observations.
Purified water plant maintenance. Coordination with the vendor and get the maintenance done in specified time. Ensure water purified through the plant is complying to specified standards.
