Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to develop, enhance, and support applications used in Risk Management and Profit & Loss (P&L;) reporting. The ideal candidate should have robust Python programming skills, experience in REST API development, and a good understanding of financial risk analytics and P&L; calculations.

The role requires robust analytical and debugging skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, and effective collaboration with business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Python.
Develop and maintain REST APIs and implement object-oriented programming principles.
Support applications related to Risk Management, P&L; reporting, pricing, and valuation.
Exposure to Investment banking, global market, pricing, valuation, Value at Risk (VaR), P&L; Attribution, or related risk analytics.
Investigate, debug, and resolve complex technical issues to ensure application reliability.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Work independently, manage assigned tasks,



and contribute to continuous application improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications
4–11 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
Robust knowledge of Python programming, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and REST API development.
Valuable understanding of financial risk management and P&L; calculations.
Exposure to Investment banking, global market, pricing, valuation, Value at Risk (VaR), P&L; Attribution, or related risk analytics.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated, quick to learn, and adaptable to new technologies and business requirements.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
