Hiring: Senior Accountant, Andheri West, Mumbai
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to independently handle the complete accounts of the company, from day-to-day bookkeeping through to statutory compliance and finalisation.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain complete books of accounts (sales, purchases, banking, journal entries, ledger scrutiny)
- Handle bank, debtor and creditor reconciliations
- Prepare monthly MIS and assist with the finalisation of accounts (Trial Balance, P&L;, Balance Sheet)
- GST: monthly/quarterly (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), GSTR-2B reconciliation, ITC matching, and GST audit/annual returns data to be provided to GST CA
- Income Tax: TDS/TCS calculation, deduction, payment and return filing, advance tax computation, and support for ITR and tax audit
- Ensure timely compliance with other statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Professional Tax, etc., as applicable)
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and department officials
- Supervise and guide junior accounts staff
Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent; CA Inter or candidates who have appeared for the CA exam (not necessarily cleared) are welcome
- Strong working knowledge of GST, Income Tax and TDS provisions
- Proficiency in Tally (Prime/ERP 9) and MS Excel
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Positive communication and organisational skills
