Reporting To: Sales Head

Team Size: Handling 4 to 6 Sales Officers (SOs)

Territory Covered:

Trichy, Karur, Pudukkottai, Perambalur, Ariyalur, Thanjavur

Experience Required:

3 to 7 Years in FMCG Sales (Food Product Industry is Mandatory)

Current Designation: SO / Sr. SO / ASE with team handling experience

Job Description:

We are looking for an Area Sales Executive to lead our Trichy cluster. This is a team handling role and not a direct Sales Officer role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Management:

- Manage and lead a team of 4-6 Sales Officers

- Assign daily beat plans and tour plans to SOs

- Collect and review Daily Sales Reports (DSR)

- Train, motivate and develop the SO team

2. Sales Target Achievement:

- Responsible for primary and secondary sales targets for Trichy cluster

- Ensure SOs achieve their individual sales targets

- Monitor primary billing and ensure stock availability at distributor points

3. Distribution Expansion:

- Appoint new distributors and stockists

- Drive numeric distribution growth month on month

- Ensure product availability and visibility in top 100 retail outlets

4. Distributor Management:

- Manage distributor stock, claims, and schemes





- Ensure timely payment collection and zero overdue

- Conduct stockist-wise sales analysis

5. Reporting and Market Intelligence:

- Submit daily sales, collection and market issue reports to ASM

- Conduct weekly team review meetings at Trichy

- Track competitor activities regarding price, schemes and new product launches

Candidate Requirements:

- Must have minimum 1 year of experience in handling a team of at least 4 SOs

- Must have been promoted from SO to Sr. SO or ASE level previously

- Strong leadership and distributor handling skills

- Must have own two-wheeler with valid driving license

- Strong knowledge of Trichy and Delta market

- Education: Any Degree / MBA Marketing preferred

- Age: Below 35 years
