About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer (Java) to build scalable, cloud-native

microservices for our Banking client for a Home Loan Integration & Implementation program. You will play a key role in modernizing legacy systems by designing resilient APIs and enabling seamless integrations across origination, servicing, channels, and partner systems.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native microservices using Java Spring Boot

● Build integration layers connecting loan origination, servicing, channels, and legacy

platforms

● Develop RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise applications

● Implement event-driven workflows using Dapr and Temporal

● Ensure secure, high-performance data access using YugabyteDB

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions

● Contribute to unit testing, code reviews, and quality assurance

● Support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices

● Implement strangler-pattern modernization by gradually replacing legacy systems

● Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize backend services

Required Skills & Qualifications





● 4-5 years of experience in backend development using Java

● Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot & Microservices architecture

● Experience designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance systems

● Understanding of event-driven architecture & distributed systems

● Experience with REST APIs and integration patterns

● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

● Knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL)

● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments

Preferred Skills (Positive to Have)

● Experience with Dapr, Temporal, or workflow orchestration tools

● Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

● Exposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

● Experience in financial services or lending domain
