This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement Java-based software components and services.

- Address system integration challenges and ensure robust, maintainable integrations.

- Participate in the creation and review of software user manuals and related technical documentation.

- Collaborate closely with other developers, architects, business analysts, and testers to ensure end-to-end solution quality.

- Author design and technical specification documents aligned with architectural and business requirements

- Provide technical leadership and mentoring, grooming developers and driving engineering best practices.

- Communicate with clients and stakeholders, presenting technical views and recommendations with clarity and conviction.

- Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects and provide inputs and recommendations to management.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

- 6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java.

- Excellent hands-on skills in:

- Core Java

- Spring Framework

- Hibernate

- J2EE





- Awareness/experience with:

- Spring Batch

- Interface implementation using Apache Camel, SOAP, etc.

- Knowledge of:

- HTML5

- REST API development

- Continuous Integration (CI) and automation testing practices and tools

- Experience using AI-assisted development and analysis tools (for example, code generation, test automation, and quality/performance optimization) in enterprise Java projects.

- Valuable understanding of the breadth of technology and open-source ecosystems.

- Strong expertise in design patterns and their practical usage.

- Experience with UML-based analysis and design using standard tools.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment and contributing to agile ceremonies and practices.
