THE ROLE

We are looking for an exceptional HR Recruiter who treats hiring as a craft. You will own end-to-end recruitment for roles across sales, counselling, content, technology and operations — finding talent others miss, and using the latest AI tools to make our hiring process faster, smarter and more consistent. You will be a strategic partner to leadership, not just a coordinator of interviews.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

▪ Source exceptional talent: Go beyond job boards — use LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean and X-ray search, referrals, communities, campuses and social channels to build strong pipelines, including for hard-to-fill roles.

▪ Automate with AI: Identify, set up and run AI tools for sourcing, resume screening, outreach, interview scheduling and candidate communication; continuously improve our hiring workflow.

▪ Own the full cycle: Manage requisitions from intake to offer — role scoping, screening, interview coordination, evaluation, offer negotiation and closure.





▪ Partner strategically: Work with hiring managers and leadership to plan headcount, define the right profiles and advise on market availability and compensation.

▪ Assess for fit and potential: Design structured interviews and competency-based evaluations that predict on-the-job success.

▪ Deliver great candidate experience: Keep every candidate informed and engaged; represent Edumilestones as an employer people want to join.

▪ Drive results with data: Track and report on time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, offer-acceptance rate and quality of hire.

▪ Build the employer brand: Create compelling job posts and talent-attraction content; grow our talent community and referral programme.

▪ Onboarding handover: Ensure smooth transitions from offer acceptance to Day 1.

WHAT YOU BRING

▪ 3–6 years of hands-on recruitment experience, ideally in a startup, EdTech, consulting or other high-growth environment.

▪ A proven track record of sourcing and closing high-quality hires against tight timelines.

▪ Strong working knowledge of current AI hiring tools — e.g. AI sourcing and screening platforms, ATS automation, and generative AI (ChatGPT, Claude or similar) for JDs, outreach and candidate evaluation.





▪ Expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Instahyre and other Indian job platforms, plus an ATS.

▪ A results-driven approach — you set targets, measure everything and deliver.

▪ A strategic mindset: you understand the business, anticipate hiring needs and influence decisions.

▪ Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.

▪ Genuine passion for education, careers and the people side of business.

▪ Graduate / MBA in HR or a related field preferred.

BONUS POINTS

▪ Experience hiring for sales, career counselling or EdTech roles.

▪ Exposure to psychometric or competency-based assessment in selection.

▪ Experience building no-code automations (e.g. Zapier, Make) around the hiring funnel.
