Role & responsibilities

- Application Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.

- API &
- Microservices:

Build secure, scalable REST APIs and independently deployable microservices; contribute to service integration and distributed-system design.

- Database Development: Create and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, tables, relationships, indexes, queries, and stored procedures as required.

- Performance Optimization: Analyze and improve application and SQL performance; use query plans such as EXPLAIN ANALYZE to identify and resolve database bottlenecks.

- Java Performance: Troubleshoot JVM performance, memory usage, garbage collection, multithreading, concurrency, and related application issues.

- Code Quality: Write clean, reusable, maintainable code; participate in code reviews and follow coding standards, design principles, and engineering best practices.

- Testing &

- Troubleshooting:

Develop unit and integration tests, debug defects, investigate production issues,



and implement reliable fixes.

- Messaging &

- Caching:

Work with asynchronous messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ and caching solutions such as Redis or Hazelcast where applicable.

- Security: Implement secure authentication and authorization, apply OAuth2/OIDC concepts where required, and follow secure coding practices including OWASP guidance.

- Cloud &

- DevOps Collaboration:

Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, product owners, and business stakeholders; provide technical guidance to junior developers and contribute to estimation and planning.

- Documentation: Document APIs, technical implementation details, troubleshooting steps, and relevant development processes.
