Post : Senior HVAC Design Engineer

Job Location : Thane

Working days : 6 days (Alternative Saturday Off )

Salary Range : 5LPA & 8LPA

Responsibilities

 Design and engineering of HVAC systems for pharmaceutical and cleanroom projects.

 Perform heat-load calculations, air quantity calculations, AHU sizing, fresh air requirements and pressure cascade calculations.

 Develop and review HVAC layouts, ducting layouts, AHU layouts, piping layouts, schematics and equipment schedules.

 Prepare and review BOQs, technical specifications and design documents.

 Develop HVAC zoning based on cleanroom classification, temperature, RH, ACH and pressure differential requirements.

 Ensure designs comply with applicable GMP, ISO 14644, ASHRAE, ISHRAE and project-specific standards.

 Coordinate HVAC designs with Architecture, Process, Electrical, Plumbing,Utility and Civil teams.

 Review technical offers, equipment datasheets, vendor drawings and contractor submissions.

 Provide technical support during project execution, installation, testing,



commissioning and qualification.

 Attend technical discussions with clients, consultants, vendors and contractors.

 Review work prepared by junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

 Identify design improvements and cost-effective engineering solutions.

 Ensure timely completion and quality of HVAC design deliverables.

Qualifications

 B.E./ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

 5-8 years of relevant experience in HVAC design

 Experience in pharmaceutical/ cleanroom projects is mandatory

 Strong knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP or other HVAC design software is an advantage.

 Valuable knowledge of HVAC systems, cleanroom concepts AHUs, ducting, chilled water systems and ventilation

 Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills

 Ability to independently handle HVAC design activities and guide junior engineers.
