1. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated SAP Consultant with 2–3 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management (MDM), SAP FICO, and SAP SD. The candidate will be responsible for SAP application support, master data management, issue resolution, business process support, testing, and coordination with business users and external SAP support partners.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of SAP business processes, analytical skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. SAP Application Support

- Provide day-to-day functional support for SAP S/4HANA applications.
- Analyze and resolve SAP user issues and support business operations.
- Coordinate with functional, technical, and external SAP support teams for issue resolution.
- Assist in identifying process improvements and implementing SAP enhancements.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers when required.

B. Master Data Management (MDM)

- Create, modify, validate, and maintain SAP master data.
- Manage material, vendor/business partner, customer, and related master data as applicable.
- Ensure master data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with business rules.
- Coordinate with Finance, Sales, Procurement, Production, and other business teams for master data requirements.
- Support data cleansing, duplicate checks, data validation, and mass uploads.




- Maintain master data documentation and follow approval workflows.

C. SAP FICO – Finance and Controlling

- Provide basic functional support for SAP Finance processes.
- Understand General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.
- Support finance-related transactions, master data, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with Finance users to analyze errors and resolve functional issues.

D. SAP SD – Sales and Distribution

- Support SAP Sales and Distribution processes, including sales orders, deliveries, billing, and customer master data.
- Assist in resolving pricing, order processing, delivery, and billing issues.
- Understand basic sales order-to-cash (O2C) processes.
- Coordinate with Sales, Dispatch, Logistics, and Finance teams.
- Support testing and validation of SAP SD changes and enhancements.

E. Testing and Documentation

- Prepare and execute functional test cases for SAP changes and enhancements.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deployment activities.
- Maintain issue logs, functional documentation, and user guides.
- Assist in SAP change management and ensure proper testing before implementation.

3. Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Commerce, Finance,



or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SAP support or implementation.
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of at least one of the following areas:
- Master Data Management (MDM)
- SAP FICO
- SAP SD
- Basic understanding of SAP integration with other business applications.
- Positive analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and preparation of functional documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with business stakeholders.

4. Preferred Skills

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA 1809 or a later version.
- Knowledge of SAP master data governance, data migration, and mass upload tools.
- Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
- Exposure to SAP testing, incident management, and change requests.
- Basic understanding of SAP authorization concepts and business process controls.

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely resolution of SAP incidents and service requests.
- Accuracy and completeness of master data.
- Compliance with master data approval procedures.
- Successful completion of testing and change requests.
- Reduction in recurring SAP issues and data-related errors.
- Business user satisfaction and adherence to support timelines.

6. Candidate Profile The candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn across SAP functional areas. The role requires regular interaction with business users and IT teams to ensure smooth SAP operations and continuous improvement of business processes.
