Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.

- Provide expert nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients, including advanced patient assessment and ventilator management.

- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

- Administer medications and perform IV therapy accurately and efficiently.

- Maintain thorough clinical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.

- Deliver emergency support and interventions as required in critical situations.

- Implement infection control measures to prevent healthcare-associated infections.

- Communicate effectively with patients' families, providing updates and support during treatment.

- Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering a team-oriented and educational environment.
