Medical Receptionist

Location: Revivo Clinic, TTK Road, Alwarpet, Chennai

Department: Front Office / Patient Services

Role Overview The Medical Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk and ensuring that every patient has a smooth, organised and professional experience at the clinic.

This role requires strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate efficiently between patients, doctors and the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet patients and manage registration, check-in and check-out.
- Schedule, confirm and reschedule appointments.
- Handle incoming phone calls, WhatsApp messages and patient enquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient details and appointment records.
- Coordinate patient movement between consultation, investigations and other services.
- Keep patients informed about waiting times, delays and schedule changes.
- Coordinate closely with doctors, nutritionists, nurses, lab staff and the operations team.
- Guide patients regarding consultations, tests, follow-ups and clinic processes.
- Assist with billing, payment collection and receipt coordination where required.
- Follow up with patients for appointments and scheduled reviews.




- Ensure all patient information is handled confidentially.
- Maintain a clean, organised and qualified reception and waiting area.
- Identify and escalate patient concerns or operational issues promptly.
- Ensure no appointment, patient request or follow-up is missed.

Candidate Requirements

- Previous experience in a clinic, hospital or healthcare front-office role is preferred.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English , Tamil and Hindi.
- Comfortable using computers, WhatsApp and appointment-management software.
- Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional, courteous and patient-friendly approach.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy clinic hours.
- Strong sense of responsibility and follow-through.

Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is warm, organised, dependable and proactive. The candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of the front desk, coordinating multiple tasks and ensuring that patients receive timely and professional support throughout their visit.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
