Wahy Lab Solutions is seeking motivated and enthusiastic candidates for the position of Java Software Development & Backend Engineering Intern. The role involves developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining Java-based applications while gaining practical exposure to backend development, database integration, REST APIs, and enterprise application development through industry-oriented projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Write, test, debug, and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable Java code.

- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and core Java concepts.

- Assist in developing backend services, web applications, and enterprise software solutions.

- Work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL using SQL and JDBC.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend application components.

- Gain practical exposure to Spring Boot and related Java development frameworks.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and basic performance optimisation.

- Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and software development activities.

- Assist in identifying and resolving application errors and technical issues.

- Maintain technical documentation and project reports.

- Collaborate with developers and project teams on real-world software development projects.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of Java programming and Core Java concepts.

- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), collections, and exception handling.

- Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and database operations.

- Basic understanding of JDBC and REST API concepts.





- Awareness of Spring Boot and Java web development is an advantage.

- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred.

- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and version control is an added advantage.

- Understanding of debugging, testing, and coding best practices.

- Robust logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn.

Qualification

- Any Degree / Diploma / PG / ITI.

- Freshers are welcome to apply.
