JOB TITLE: HOMAG Edge Banding Machine Operator:

Location: Interior Factory - Bangalore (Ayyapanagr, Hoodi)

Salary: Rs 20,000 - Rs 26,000 + OT + Room

JOB SUMMARY

We need experienced operator for HOMAG Edge Banding machine (or Brandt / Biesse). He should handle machine alone - from setting to cleaning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Machine Operation:

- Operate HOMAG EDGETEQ S-200 / S-300 / KD 90 series or similar
- Edge banding for 0.8mm to 2mm PVC / ABS / Acrylic edge
- Set temperature (180-200°C), pressure, feeding speed as per board thickness (8mm, 18mm, 25mm)

1. Quality Check:

- Check glue bonding - no gap, no glue overflow
- Check trimming - end trimming, top/bottom trimming should be clean
- Check buffing / polishing finish
- If tape is peeling - adjust immediately

1. Material Knowledge:

- Knowledge of BWP, HDHMR, MDF, Particle Board - different heat needed
- Edge tape matching - wood colour,

1. Maintenance:

- Daily cleaning of glue pot, trimming blades, dust suction
- Weekly oiling, check glue level, cutter sharpness
- Report if machine stops / error code comes

1. Production & Safety:

- Maintain daily production sheet - how many panels banded
- Follow factory safety - gloves, no loose clothes near machine
- Help in loading/unloading panels (with helpers)

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2-3 years experience on HOMAG
- Should know trimming unit, corner rounding, buffing setting
- ITI / Diploma - Furniture Technology preferred but not compulsory
- Age 20-40 years
- Can read measurement in mm
- Can work 9am-6.00pm + OT if urgent order
