Hiring | Credit Manager – Loans Against Securities (LAS)

Looking to take your expertise in Loans Against Securities (LAS) to the next level? Key Responsibilities
- Lead credit appraisal, underwriting and risk assessment for LAS proposals.
- Evaluate borrower profiles, collateral eligibility, securities valuation and Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratios.
- Monitor collateral coverage, margin shortfalls, margin calls and portfolio exposure.
- Ensure credit decisions align with internal policies and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Identify emerging credit risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Business,
Risk and Operations teams to maintain portfolio quality and enable efficient credit processing.
Ideal Candidate
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in LAS Credit, Underwriting or Credit Risk Management within an NBFC or financial institution.
- Strong understanding of equity shares, mutual funds, securities pledging, collateral valuation and margin monitoring.
- Proven expertise in credit assessment, portfolio monitoring and risk controls.
- Strong analytical judgement, decision-making and stakeholder management skills.
