About the job

We re looking for an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also takes ownership of manual testing for our desktop and mobile applications.

Responsibilities





- Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
- Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
- Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
- Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
- Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
- Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.

Job requirements

Mandatory:

- 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (for example, GitHub Actions).
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
- Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
- Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output. Testing AI-powered applications is a plus.
