Role Description The Accountant (Zoho Books) will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records in Zoho Books.

Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing invoices, tracking expenses, and supporting monthly and annual closing activities. The role also involves generating financial reports, assisting with budgeting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun, requiring close collaboration with operations,



procurement, and management teams to support transparent and reliable financial processes.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Zoho Books or similar cloud-based accounting software, with the ability to manage daily bookkeeping and financial entries.
- Solid knowledge of basic accounting principles, including ledger management, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Ability to handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Competence in using spreadsheets and office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, word processing software).
- Good analytical and numerical skills to interpret financial data and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced on-site environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in accounting for retail, FMCG, or agriculture/food businesses is beneficial.
