Job Summary

ABC IT Consultants is looking for a skilled and motivated
Python Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Python, experience in developing scalable applications, and a good understanding of software development principles.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Python-based applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain efficient Python applications.
- Write clean, reusable, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Use version control systems such as Git for code management.
- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to project planning.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and Python development practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and web services.




- Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Understanding of debugging, testing, and application optimization.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Pytest or unittest.
- Exposure to Linux environments and deployment processes.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Celery, Redis, or message queues is an advantage.
