Role Description The Security Officer role at Kirloskar in Hospet is a full-time, on-site position responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and assets. The role includes monitoring entry and exit points, conducting regular patrols of the facility, and overseeing visitor management and access control procedures. The Security Officer will respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, document security observations and reports, and ensure compliance with company security policies and local regulations. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external agencies when required, supporting safety drills,



and promoting a secure work environment.
Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in security, facility protection, or related roles, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing workplace.
- Knowledge of basic security procedures, access control practices, and incident reporting standards.
- Ability to remain alert, calm, and decisive in emergency or high-pressure situations.
- Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify potential risks or safety concerns.
- Good communication skills for interacting with employees, visitors, and external security or emergency personnel.
- Physical fitness sufficient for regular patrolling, standing for extended periods, and responding quickly to incidents.
- Familiarity with using security equipment such as CCTV systems, radios, alarms, and ID verification tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training, certifications, or prior law enforcement/defense experience are an advantage.
