ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a senior leader to head our PMC business. You will own delivery for every project, from feasibility and design through tendering, construction, commissioning and handover. Projects must finish on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards. You will also build the PMC team, its systems and its client base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Delivery & Governance

- Set up and run project governance for high-rise residential, villa, commercial and infrastructure projects.
- Approve master schedules and milestone plans (Primavera P6 / MS Project). Track the critical path and agree recovery plans when projects slip.
- Coordinate the civil, structural, architectural, MEP, landscape, planning, QS, QA/QC and safety teams.
- Plan statutory approvals and NOCs early so they do not delay work.
- Drive testing, commissioning, snag closure, documentation and handover.

2. Design, Quality & Value Engineering

- Review architectural, structural and MEP designs, shop drawings and RFIs. Resolve conflicts and constructability issues.
- Set up QA/QC systems, run quality audits and close NCRs.
- Lead value engineering to reduce cost, time and lifecycle cost while maintaining quality, safety and functionality.

3. Cost, Contracts, Procurement & Risk

- Own budgets, BOQs, cash-flow forecasts and cost-to-complete. Keep projects within approved budgets.
- Oversee variations, claims, extensions of time, retentions and final accounts. Protect the company's contractual position.
- Approve procurement strategies, identify long-lead items early and evaluate contractors and vendors. Take part in commercial negotiations.
- Maintain risk registers and mitigation plans covering design, cost, schedule, contracts and approvals.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the senior point of contact for clients, architects, consultants and contractors.
- Chair project review meetings, handle escalations and make sure decisions are taken on time.




- Build long-term client relationships that lead to repeat business.

5. Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor and assess Project Directors, Project Managers and functional teams.
- Define roles and KPIs. Support hiring, training and succession planning.
- Monitor how contractors plan their manpower and how productive they are on site.
- Build an accountable, high-performance culture.

6. Business Development & Strategy

- Win current PMC mandates from developers, corporates, government bodies, institutions and investors.
- Lead capability presentations, proposals, tender submissions and fee negotiations.
- Put in place SOPs, MIS dashboards and digital monitoring tools. Present portfolio performance to the MD/CEO and Board.
- Prepare the annual PMC business plan. Contribute to revenue, profitability and entry into new markets and sectors.

Must have

- 20+ years in civil construction across high-rise residential, villa, commercial and large-scale infrastructure projects.
- At least 10 years in Project Management Consultancy.
- Proven experience leading teams of 100 or more people.
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Strong command of planning, QS, cost control, contracts, QA/QC and HSE.

Preferred

- Postgraduate degree in Project, Construction or Infrastructure Management.
- PMP or contract-management certification.
- Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel, AutoCAD, QS/costing software and digital MIS platforms.

Key competencies

Strategic leadership, commercial acumen, negotiation, stakeholder management, managing several projects at once, problem-solving, and clear communication and presentation.

Pay: ₹2,400,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
