lectrical Engineer (Installation, Testing & Commissioning)

Role & Responsibilities

- Execute installation of electrical equipment up to 145kV (transformers, breakers, relays, insulators, conductors, reactors, disconnectors, lightning arresters, optical ground wires, etc.).
- Lay HV, MV, LV power & control cables and perform proper termination.
- Carry out transmission line erection works (3.3kV to 145kV).
- Perform testing & commissioning of AIS & GIS substations, protection relays, circuit breakers, transformers, CTs, PTs, CVTs, generators, motors, batteries, chargers, and capacitor banks.
- Conduct scheme checking, logic verification, and interlock testing.
- Handle retrofitting, servicing, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Perform electrical load power analysis and monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain switchyard/switchgear equipment.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Diploma/ITI in Electrical.
- Experience:



17 years in installation, testing, commissioning, and O&M; of substations and transmission lines.VCB cleaning and maintenance
- Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV systems.
- Hands-on experience with VCB/ACB testing, VCB/ACB servicing, and panel work.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schemes.
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and safety protocols.
