About the Role
Akshar Group is looking for an experienced General Insurance professional with strong knowledge of insurance operations, fresh business, renewals, policy servicing and claims coordination.
We are looking for someone who combines insurance knowledge with ownership, integrity, strong follow-up discipline and a genuine customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities

- Handle fresh General Insurance business and policy renewals.
- Manage day-to-day insurance operations and policy servicing.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, policy issuance, renewals, endorsements and other servicing requirements.
- Ensure timely follow-up and closure of cases within defined TATs.
- Coordinate with insurers, TPAs and other stakeholders for claims and claim-related requirements.
- Handle insurance products including Health, Motor, Travel, Marine, Fire, Liability and Miscellaneous Insurance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure systematic follow-up on pending cases.
- Handle client queries professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and service standards.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and insurance companies.

Required Skills & Experience

- Prior experience in the General Insurance industry is mandatory.
- Valuable knowledge of fresh business, renewals, policy servicing, endorsements and claims coordination.
- Experience in dealing with insurance companies and managing follow-ups.
- Strong communication, coordination and client-servicing skills.
- Good documentation and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet defined TATs.
- Working knowledge of Health, Motor, Travel, Marine,



Fire and Liability Insurance will be an advantage.
- Candidates from insurance broking, insurance companies or insurance intermediaries are preferred.
