Job Description

SPARK Engineering is hiring Remote - Inside Sales Engineers to support its existing sales and business development activities. This is a full-time remote opportunity for candidates with an Electrical or Instrumentation engineering background and an understanding of industrial products and applications.

The role involves handling customer enquiries, reviewing technical requirements, identifying suitable products and manufacturers, obtaining supplier quotations, preparing technical and commercial offers, and following up with customers to convert enquiries into orders.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer enquiries, RFQs, specifications, datasheets, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Identify suitable industrial products, manufacturers, and technical solutions.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, pricing, delivery schedules, and compliance documents.
- Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations and proposals.
- Coordinate with customers and suppliers through email, telephone, and online meetings.
- Follow up on quotations and support conversion of enquiries into purchase orders.
- Maintain customer, enquiry, quotation, and follow-up records in Odoo or other sales tracking systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support order execution and customer requirements.
- Prepare sales reports and documents using MS Word, Excel, and other office applications.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline,



OR an equivalent Engineering Diploma/technical qualification or BSc - Physics/Chemistry/Maths.
- Understanding of Electrical and/or Instrumentation products and industrial applications.
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or general industrial sectors.
- Experience in inside sales, technical sales, sales engineering, proposal engineering, estimation, or quotation preparation is preferred.
- Ability to read technical datasheets, specifications, BOQs, and drawings.
- Experience in vendor identification, supplier coordination, quotation comparison, and customer follow-up.
- Good written English, professional email communication, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other office applications.
- Odoo knowledge is an added advantage.

Work Requirements

- 100% remote / work-from-home position.
- Full time availability from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Dedicated employment with SPARK Engineering during the agreed working hours.
- Candidates must not simultaneously work for or provide professional services to another company during these working hours.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple enquiries, and meet deadlines.
