Head of Technology 15+Years-Chennai

A senior leadership prospect for an experienced IT Application Development professional to lead global application development, project delivery and production maintenance for a leading banking organization. The role offers ownership of end-to-end technology delivery, stakeholder management, large-scale teams and business-critical applications in a global GCC environment.

Location -Chennai

Responsibilities -

1. Lead application development and enhancement initiatives, ensuring quality, timely and controlled delivery.

2. Own end-to-end project management, including planning, estimation, resourcing, delivery tracking and reporting.

3. Oversee 2nd and 3rd level production support for business-critical applications.

4. Provide technical and managerial direction across design, coding, testing, documentation and release management.

5. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions.

6. Drive improvements in application stability, delivery quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements -

- 15+ years of experience in application development and IT delivery roles.
- Strong experience in project management and application development, preferably within complex or regulated environments.
- Proven experience managing multi-skilled development and maintenance teams.
- Financial institution experience is required; banking experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong exposure to production maintenance, incident/problem management and higher-level application support.




- Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams.
- Strong understanding of the complete Application Development Lifecycle Requirements, Design, Build, Testing, Deployment & Maintenance.
